Pair Of Diesel RCZ Coupes At 24 Hrs Of Nürburgring
For the first time, the French automaker, Peugeot will compete in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with it's new model the RCZ Coupes. We have been told that Peugeot will be using a pair of the Peugeot RCZ diesel-powered racing car which is nearly stock with a 2-liter HDi FAP RCZ engine that produced around 200hp. The only modifications on both of the cars would be the FIA approval roll cages, fire suppression, bigger disc brakes and calipers and additional of the rear wing. The engineers also removed the unnecessary tools like the audio systems and air-conditioning as-well-as other body panels to make it as light as they can for the race. Stéphane Caille the vice-chairman of PSA will be one of the 4-drivers to compete in the race including other pro-drivers and Peugeot staff.
