Former World Champion Could Become Hamilton's New Manager

After being successfully handled by his father Anthony for years, 2008 World Formula 1 Champion, Lewis Hamilton has decided to stand alone without any manager. His professional split move to race with McLaren without manager, was not the right thing to do, said McLaren team boss.While Hamilton's career is currently handled by McLaren itself, the team boss, Martin Whitmarsh is pushing and encouraging Hamilton to appoint a dispassionate and independent new manager.

Rumours - the former 2-times world champion Mika Hakkinen, who retired from Formula 1 back in 2001, is reportedly being linked with Hamilton's new manager as he has a strong ties with both Lewis Hamilton and the McLaren team itself as an ambassador for the team sponsor Johnnie Walker.Recently, Hakkinen announced that he is still interested in come-back to Formula 1 but not as a race-driver. He said, " Perhaps I will come back to Formula 1 as a manager". Oh well, perhaps.
