Team BMW Wins The 2010 Nürburgring 24-hours Race.
Team BMW Motorsports took the victory at the 2010 24 hours race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, after five years since the manufacturer's last victory. The number 25 BMW M3 GT2 car claimed BMW’s 19th victory at the endurance classic which was drove by Jörg Müller, Augusto Farfus, Uwe Alzen and Pedro Lamy, the car crossed the finishing line first after 154 laps of the 25.378km race-track. First Official Photos - 2011 BMW M3 Competition Pack
New Frozen Black BMW M3 Competition
BMW has introduced a new color for it's recently launched 2011 BMW M3 Competition Pack ; the Frozen Black paint. Another color that is available with the Competition Package (ZCP) is the Monte Carlo Blue. - and a set of carbon fiber front splitters and boot spoiler. Also features a modified lights with glass covers in a homogeneous red colour with two harmoniously illuminating light-banks fed by LED units.With the priced of $2,500, all you can get for the new M3 Competition Package (ZCP) is a new light wheels in the size 9 x 19 inches at the front and Y-spoke design at the rear and the pack lowers the suspension of the car by 10mm as well as a new sport mode within the Electronic Damping Control system (EDC) and a revised stability control program. The new M3 will also receive a new stop-start system which will help the owners to obtain an average fuel consumption drop of 8 percent. Green Light Production For The Ultimate M3 GTS

BMW has announced that they will produced the limited edition BMW M3 GTS which based on the E92 M3. High revving V8 engine technology at its best with larger displacement, high performance and higher torque - The M3 GTS is officially a road legal race car produced at the BMW GmbH manufacturing facility in Munich. The engine has been stroked to a 4.4-liter and produced 450hp (8,300rpm) - 30hp more than the standard M3 - 331kW and 440Nm of torque - available at an engine speed of 3,750 rpm. The weight of the car has been reduced 419lbs less than the standard M3 and runs from 0 to 100km/h in just 4.4seconds with a top speed of 305km/h. Power-to-weight ratio has been lowered to 3.4kg per hp. The transmission has been fully tuned using the 7-Speed M Dual Clutch Drive-logic gearbox developed specially for motorsport and permits the gearshift without interruption of traction for extreme use. After being absence for almost two decades, BMW has moved closer in returning to the DTM Race (German Touring Car Masters) in 2012. BMW last raced in the DTM was in 1992 when they used the all-time-favourite BMW M3 Evo. And now are busy restructuring it's Motorsport programmes in the wake of it's Formula 1 pull-out last year. Vorsteiner has revealed it's new and latest creation of the special-edition wide body GTRS3 M3 for the E92 model. The GTRS3 M3 was design consists of the latest technology in body modifications, light-weight and aerodynamics. The front bumber has been replaced with a complete carbon fiber unit with a removeable splitter while the wide front and rear arch fenders has been extended using a carbon fiber as-well. Battery Powered Mini E Race-Spec Laps Nürburgring
BMW engineering-team, team up with ex-DTM driver to conquer Nürburgring Nordschleife under the foggy weather with BMW's latest special edition battery-powered MINI E model. They applied some weight reduction measures to the body, new tires, bigger brakes and caliper and a roll-cage. The electric powertrain underwent some recalibration for the aggressive track-use. Thomas Jäger ex-DTM race driver took the Nürburgring with the BMW MINI E, under the foggy weather and managed to set a reasonably respectable lap time around the 13 mile-long Nürburgring Nordschleife of just 9 minutes and 51.45 seconds with a maximum speed of 116.2 miles/hour. Nürburgring Nordschleife is well-known as one of the most treacherous race tracks in the world, even on the best of days. Watch the video-below.

Its has been out right before the Geneva AutoShow was held early this month. The legendry British brand MINI (BMW MINI) has gone far beyond expectation. This time it's the 4x4 MINI Countryman with four-doors and an optional of four-wheel drive system. Besides maintaining it as a go-kart style handling car, that have been characterised MINI since their first production in 1960 by BMC (British Motor Corporation), BMW-owned company still keen to show the essence of MINI in this Countryman with the chunky off-road design, styling elements of the firm's smaller cars are clearly noticeable.
