Team BMW Wins The 2010 Nürburgring 24-hours Race.

Team BMW Motorsports took the victory at the 2010 24 hours race at the Nürburgring-Nordschleife, after five years since the manufacturer's last victory. The number 25 BMW M3 GT2 car claimed BMW’s 19th victory at the endurance classic which was drove by Jörg Müller, Augusto Farfus, Uwe Alzen and Pedro Lamy, the car crossed the finishing line first after 154 laps of the 25.378km race-track. Following the historic one-two victory, as the first manufacturer's team using diesel technology in the event, at the 2010 Dakar Rally in January, Volkswagen are now taking on a new technical challenge.  They will again introducing a green eco-friendly race car for the 24-Hours Nürburgring race that will be held on the 23rd and 24th of May. Two Scirocco cars powered by innovative natural gas engine the CNG (compressed natural gas) will compete at the 'Green Hell'  which only produced 20%  of CO2 emissions from a normal car.

The 12-cylinder Berlinetta, produced in a limited edition of 599, was presented at a symbolic place of the city of Modena: the Military Academy's Ducal Palace. A choice, as Ferrari Chairman Luca di Montezemolo underlined, to "confirm the deep relationship between Ferrari with the terroir and especially with Modena. The Academy is a proper centre of excellence, a historical place, with culture and passion. The Academy and Ferrari are an expression of Italian excellence of this region."

For the first time, the French automaker, Peugeot will compete in the 24 Hours of Nürburgring with it's new model the RCZ Coupes. We have been told that Peugeot will be using a pair of the Peugeot RCZ diesel-powered racing car which is nearly stock with a 2-liter HDi FAP RCZ engine that produced around 200hp.

BMW engineering-team, team up with ex-DTM driver to conquer  Nürburgring Nordschleife under the foggy weather with BMW's latest special edition battery-powered MINI E model. They applied some weight reduction measures to the body, new tires, bigger brakes and caliper and a roll-cage. The electric powertrain underwent some recalibration for the aggressive track-use. Thomas Jäger ex-DTM race driver took the Nürburgring with the BMW MINI E, under the foggy weather and managed to set a reasonably respectable lap time around the 13 mile-long Nürburgring Nordschleife of just 9 minutes and 51.45 seconds with a maximum speed of 116.2 miles/hour. Nürburgring Nordschleife is well-known as one of the most treacherous race tracks in the world, even on the best of days. Watch the video-below.

With the approach of making the Maserati 4200GT also known as Maserati Coupe more aerodynamic, they came out with a new aero front bumper, an integrated diffuser rear bumper and a set of slick design side skirts. Adding the smooth curvy orange accents on it, Prior Design managed to bring out the stylish side from the ever exclusive Maserati model. The best thing about cars is that we can make them to look how we want them to be. With the right paint, stunning rim and bodykit, it can bring out the best personality of a car and fits to eye of the modern day– even if the car was manufactured in the early 80s. That is what I told myself when I came across with this old-school, 1983 S-Class W126, tuned by Inden Design. It is powered by 386 hp, 6.0 liter engine with 100mm piston from 560 SE. I must say the numbers impress me, but what catches the eye most is the looks that Inden Design has given it.

The flamboyant large black grill gave it a menacing stare to whomever looking at it. With installation of the U.S. headlight, it is just superb.
