New Release - The New Routemaster, London's Double Decker

The New Double-Decker London Bus + Green-Engine 
The Routemaster is a model of a double-decker bus which was build in 1954 by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC) and produced until 1968. The Routemaster as we know, the main bus attraction in London were introduced by London Transport back in 1956 and saw a continuous services until year 2005. Primarily it is a front-engined, rear open platform buses and a small number of variants were produced with doors and front entrances.
Northern Ireland's bus company the Wrightbus this week unveiled the design for the next-generation of London's double-decker bus. The new Routemaster will be looking something like above and was originally drawn up by Capoco Design - which has won the winning entry in the new Routemaster design contest. That drawing was given to Wrightbus and made ready for actual use on the streets of The Famous City. More Details & Video after the Jump!

They appointed their co-partner, the Atomik Cars in building green-engine cars, which they say is going to be a super-city car. New Release - The New Honda CR-Z

2011 Honda CR-Z Sports-Hybrid Promo Video
Video released by Honda for its new recently revealed CR-Z Hybrid Coupe for the Europe, Middle East and Africa continent. The Honda CR-Z sports-hybrid coupe will be in the market somewhere early 2011. The CR-Z comes with a hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine with an IMA electric motor that makes 113 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. Mount with a six-speed manual transmission in place of the common CVT. The electric motor meanwhile produces 13 bhp at 1,500 rpm and 78Nm at 1,000 rpm.
The film below was produced by Gaucho Productions, directed by Ben Hume-Paton and produced by Kwok Yau, the clip was shot over a day and two nights in southern Spain.

Green Scirocco At Green Hell

VW To Take On The 24-Hours Nürburgring With Scirocco CNG-Powered
 " The Scirocco GT24 already proved it's strength as a dynamic sports coupe by clinching class victory in it's debut race last year.  We want to prove that VW offers different powertrain concepts, which all excel in terms of dynamics, high efficiency and reliability." Following the historic one-two victory, as the first manufacturer's team using diesel technology in the event, at the 2010 Dakar Rally in January, Volkswagen are now taking on a new technical challenge.  They will again introducing a green eco-friendly race car for the 24-Hours Nürburgring race that will be held on the 23rd and 24th of May. Two Scirocco cars powered by innovative natural gas engine the CNG (compressed natural gas) will compete at the 'Green Hell'  which only produced 20%  of CO2 emissions from a normal car.

Mini-Green Power Through The Green Hell.

Battery Powered Mini E Race-Spec Laps Nürburgring
BMW engineering-team, team up with ex-DTM driver to conquer  Nürburgring Nordschleife under the foggy weather with BMW's latest special edition battery-powered MINI E model. They applied some weight reduction measures to the body, new tires, bigger brakes and caliper and a roll-cage. The electric powertrain underwent some recalibration for the aggressive track-use. Thomas Jäger ex-DTM race driver took the Nürburgring with the BMW MINI E, under the foggy weather and managed to set a reasonably respectable lap time around the 13 mile-long Nürburgring Nordschleife of just 9 minutes and 51.45 seconds with a maximum speed of 116.2 miles/hour. Nürburgring Nordschleife is well-known as one of the most treacherous race tracks in the world, even on the best of days. Watch the video-below.
