Simulator Preview Of The Spanish Grand Prix - RedBull's Sebastian Vettel

The 2010 Barcelona Spanish Grand Prix is just around the corner and all the teams were busy getting ready, today and preparation of the car since they are allowed to modified their car. We will see how Spanish Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso play his part at home-ground. Ferrari has been struggling through out the race with faulty engine. The FIA has allowed them to tweek-changes their engine and we will see how it goes. While 7-times world champion, Michael Schumacher is still struggling from comeback to Formula 1 and outpace by team-mate Nico Rosberg whom managed to secured 2 podium  for the team. Meanwhile, RedBull's Sebastian Vettel and Mark Webber knew that they had to win at Spain to close the gab and looking forward to be on pole position at Barcelona. British-Silverstone Circuit - The Fastest F1 Track?

Track layout of the new redesign Silverstone Circuit.

British most famous race-track the Silverstone Circuit has just launched the most significant revisions of it's current track which aimed to bring the facility up to speed. The new track layout which dubbed the Arena Circuit has been reconfigures from the existing circuit with more handful turns. The new layout actually bypass the old Bridge Complex in-favour of it's new widen-lengths of 760meters of tarmac. The changes were made aimed to increase the difficulty level for every race and to improve a better spectators view. Follow the Jump for Press Release.

Former World Champion Could Become Hamilton's New Manager

After being successfully handled by his father Anthony for years, 2008 World Formula 1 Champion, Lewis Hamilton has decided to stand alone without any manager. His professional split move to race with McLaren without manager, was not the right thing to do, said McLaren team boss.
While Hamilton's career is currently handled by McLaren itself, the team boss, Martin Whitmarsh is pushing and encouraging Hamilton to appoint a dispassionate and independent new manager.

Formula 1 - New Circuit Korean GP

2010 Korean Grand Prix In Doubt?

"For the first time, I am concerned that a circuit is not going to be finished on time," Hermann Tilke

 The 2010 Formula One schedule could be reduced to 18-races out of the 19-races that have been selected, if the Korean Grand Prix can't make it on time. The Korean GP was on the calender for this  year Formula One season and will be held on the October 24th, is still in doubts as to whether the new circuit are still under construction in Yeongam, will be ready in time.

  The Korean Grand Prix were situated some 400km south of Korean capital, Seoul - designed by famous track designer Hermann Tilke. The track is allegedly fallen well behind on it's construction schedule. with F1 commercial surpremo, Bernie Ecclestone reportedly flew to Korea to assess the extend of the problem and now he is expected to take a final decision on the race's viability.

Ecclestone Keen On Bringing F1 To New York

Formula 1 supremo Bernie Ecclestone are keen on bringing back the Formula 1 to the United States and revealed that negotiations are underway to bring a grand prix to the New York area. Rather than running through the streets of Manhattan as had previously been rumored, Ecclestone's plan calls for the race to take place on the opposite side of the Hudson River in New Jersey. The plan, according to Ecclestone, could come to fruition as soon as 2012.

McLaren is developing two more road cars besides the MP4-12C supercar that was officially unveiled in London. Ron Dennis, McLaren's executive chairman, said of the company's future models that "all will have two seats — we are a sports-car manufacturer — and you can safely assume that the engine will be in the back." There will be few options on the MP4-12C including a higher-performance model and a convertible. Mclaren set a standard monocoque chassis which the MP4's carbon-fiber tub and aluminum spaceframe structure effectively act as a separate chassis, the exterior body panels being unstressed. McLaren was able to use the same rolling chassis for three frontal crash tests.

 The season we have been waiting for have started with full top 4 teams that mostly dominate the top 5 chart with 3 new-teams competing for this year event (HRT, Lotus and VirginRacing, while USF1 didn't make it) after Toyota and BMW retired makes it 12-Teams and some of the rule changes which might makes the most famous international sports boring. We will see till the first quater season starts.

New Rules For 2010 Formula-1 Season

The FIA has announced further details of changes to F1’s technical rules for 2010. Chief among these is the widely-expected banning of refuelling and tyre warmers. The minimum weight of the cars is also being increased from 605kg to 620kg, and there are revisions to the rules governing KERS. The refuelling ban was originally proposed by the F1 Teams Association but subsequently dismissed by Max Mosley (former FIA-President) as he felt that it would interfere with 'the show' too much. However with all the agreement from all the F1-Teams and managed to convinced the FIA that a refuelling ban makes sense on cost grounds, (especially new teams) as it saves them from having to hip refuelling equipment around the world at great expense. The car will now not just look bigger than the previous season's car, with the larger fuel tanks to last the race, but it will also raised the total weight from 605kg to 620kg.
