Tuner - 2011 Porsche Cayenne By TechArt Revealed

TechArt Tuned The New 2011 Porsche Cayenne

Techart released today its first tuning programme for the new Porsche Cayenne which recently made its debut at the 2010 Geneva Motor Show. The tuning package includes individualization options for the exterior, the engine area, and the interior of the SUV. Now don’t get too excited because this kit is just the first one from the German tuning firm and is not actually the "Magnum body-kit" you all waited for. The exterior changes for the new Cayenne are minor and include trims painted in custom color or in carbon fibre. Inside, Techart brings a new rear-seat-entertainment system and a new 3-spoke sport steering wheel with paddle shifters. The design of the car is completed by the new Formula and Formula II light alloy wheels as well as Formula III forged light alloy wheels in dimensions of 20 to 23-inch. These wheels can be painted in order to match custom colors. Also, the tuning fir offers an engine styling package with carbon cover as well as the sport tailpipes in polished stainless steel. New Release - The New Routemaster, London's Double Decker

The New Double-Decker London Bus + Green-Engine 

The Routemaster is a model of a double-decker bus which was build in 1954 by the Associated Equipment Company (AEC) and produced until 1968. The Routemaster as we know, the main bus attraction in London were introduced by London Transport back in 1956 and saw a continuous services until year 2005. Primarily it is a front-engined, rear open platform buses and a small number of variants were produced with doors and front entrances.

Northern Ireland's bus company the Wrightbus this week unveiled the design for the next-generation of London's double-decker bus. The new Routemaster will be looking something like above and was originally drawn up by Capoco Design - which has won the winning entry in the new Routemaster design contest. Proton has updated their Gen2 model with a little alteration on the exterior as well as the interior and their engine too. The new Gen2 will be produce in 3 variants, which are Medium-Line (AT), High-Line (MT) and High-Line (AT) with RM54,988, RM57,488 and RM60,488 price tag respectively. While the price tag for High-Line are still unchanged, but buyer will get more value for their money with the new Gen2 Medium-Line model. Volkswagen AG unveiled two of their new special variants, the Volkswagen Golf GTi Adidas and the Volkswagen Golf GTi Excessive at the annual GTI Meet-up event in Wörthersee, Austria. The Golf GTI Adidas version : starting in June, three of the world's most recognised German badges – Volkswagen, GTI and Adidas – will for the first time meld into a combined product as the Golf GTI Adidas. The essential fact is that the GTI's technology and styling - and its interior customised in the style of the adidas brand - all produce a real dynamic mix.

Like each of these icons, the new Golf GTI Adidas will also launch with wide-ranging customised exterior and interior features. They include newly designed 18-inch "Serron" alloy wheels and a specially developed sport seat design. As on the Golf R, bi-xenon headlights and LED rear lights are aboard as standard equipment. The engine remains standard with the 210hp 2-liter turbocharged engine. According to them, the Golf GTI Adidas is likely to attain collector's status very quickly. It will be on the European market starting June and later Australia and the USA both in 3 and 5-doors versions. Tuner - Hennessey's Venom GT

2011 Hennessey Venom GT Supercar

It makes us wonder if it was ever going to be happen for John Hennessey after he announced his plans to build his own super-car, under his tuning name - Hennessey, two-years ago. The American based Texas car tuner managed to make their first official public debut for the Venom GT at the Geneva Motor Show two-months back.

The Venom GT based upon the Lotus Elise and combines with the mixture of High-Tech-Supercar, lightweight British chassis - Lotus Elise, and a powerful American power-plant - the V8 engine. Hennessey has made a few changes on the specification with what he has stated before. The curb weight were reduced from 2700lbs to 2400lbs and it is now using a new power-plant, a V8 engine called the "Hennessey V8" rather than the twin-turbocharged Viper V10 engine. The power rating increased from 1000hp to 1200hp. The Venom GT will be able to make the sprint to 60 mph in just 2.4 seconds and a listed top speed of 272mph.

19 New Audi Vehicles At The Wörthersee

Audi will bring 19 of it's new design car for show during the Wörthersee Tour 2010 this week and out of the 19 cars, nine cars will be the new Audi A1 mini-car and seven of those have been customized with a special wraps and interior treatments which is something new and specially made for the Audi A1 model. The special customized features from Austrian police car to an airport guide vehicle including the white-walled flame-sprouting low rider on black steelies. Audi aims to go after the audience that has been applying this kinda customized and personalized finishes to modern Minis for the past decade. Audi will also offer a variety of competition-kits of interior and exterior bits when the car goes on sale later this year.

Alfa Romeo Will-Be Back In America With Variety

Fiat has officially confirmed that the Alfa Romeo brand will make a return appearance to the United States starting 2012.  Sergio Marchionne speaks for Fiat saying that the first vehicle should be the midsize Giulia, which will come in both sedan and wagon variants. They also plan to produce a compact SUV which will be built in the States using European Giullietta hatchback as underpinnings. Later, they plan to start producing a five-door version of the beautiful MiTo hatchback and a new Alfa Romeo Spider in the States. He also said that later, in 2014 model year, Alfa will redesign it's compact Giullietta hatchback and ship it to America for production. Another larger SUV vehicle will be introduce as well in the same year and will be built in America too.

2011 Honda CR-Z Sports-Hybrid Promo Video

Video released by Honda for its new recently revealed CR-Z Hybrid Coupe for the Europe, Middle East and Africa continent. The Honda CR-Z sports-hybrid coupe will be in the market somewhere early 2011. The CR-Z comes with a hybrid powertrain that combines a 1.5-litre four-cylinder i-VTEC engine with an IMA electric motor that makes 113 bhp at 6,000 rpm and 145 Nm of torque at 4,800 rpm. Mount with a six-speed manual transmission in place of the common CVT. The electric motor meanwhile produces 13 bhp at 1,500 rpm and 78Nm at 1,000 rpm.
